As used in this chapter, PLUMBING INSTALLATIONS means all pipes which are or may be connected to a sewer or water system; all plumbing methods, fixtures, equipment and devices; and the repair, replacement, alteration, construction or addition to any drain, soil waste, water or vent pipe within the city, unless exempted elsewhere in this Title Four or in this Building Code. The term does not include a water supply system used for industrial purposes which is not connected to a city water system.
