(A) An applicant for a plant registration shall hold an engineering degree from an accredited college or university in the business or trade in which he or she applied to be registered or shall possess a state certificate.
(B) As used in this Title Four,
PLANT means a commercial or industrial building, buildings or premises or parts thereof, under single management, where business or manufacturing is being conducted, where the managing agency maintains constantly an Engineering Department, with a person with an engineering degree from an accredited college or university, in the specific branch of the trade for which a registration is desired, and in which one or more persons are steadily employed for installing, altering, repairing, replacing or adding to a plumbing, drainage, electrical or heating system for which a registration is required by the Ohio Building Code.
