§ 1040.07 SEWER OPENINGS TO BE SEALED; DEMOLITION DEPOSIT.

Such seals shall be maintained whenever any opening is made in a sanitary sewer and shall be removed only when approved by the City Engineer. Fifty dollars shall be placed on deposit with the Building Department when permits are written for demolition of a structure served by a sanitary sewer. The $50 shall be refunded after the Superintendent of Utilities or his or her agent has inspected the sanitary sewer laterals or lateral connected to the structure and certified that they are sealed properly.
