(A) No person shall hold any dance in any public dance hall within the city until such public dance hall has been first duly licensed for such purpose. Such license shall be issued by the Mayor for a period of one year from the date thereof or for a period of six months from the date thereof, upon payment by the applicant for such license of the following fees: $25 for a period of one year or $15 for a period of six months.
(B) The license shall be displayed in a conspicuous place within any hall where a dance is held.
