(A) There is hereby created a Boxing and Wrestling Commission to consist of three persons to be appointed by the Mayor and to serve at his or her pleasure. Such Commission shall consist of one member from Council and two persons domiciled in the city. A member of the Law Director’s office designated by the Law Director shall be an ex officio member of the Commission and serve as its Secretary. The Mayor shall designate one member of the Commission as Chairperson.
(B) No member of the Commission shall be interested either directly or indirectly in the promotion of any boxing or wrestling exhibition.
(C) No member of the Commission shall receive any salary or fee as a member of such Commission or as one of its officers.
