§ 50.065 DEPOSIT.
   (A)   A minimum deposit shall be required to initiate water and/or sewer service or to open the water valve to a new occupant or tenant. See the town fee schedule (on file with the Town Clerk) for deposit charges.
   (B)   A separate deposit shall be paid on each installed water meter.
   (C)   The individual in whose name the deposit is made shall be responsible for the payment of all bills incurred in connection with the service furnished.
   (D)   No interest shall be paid by the town on the deposit. The town may apply the deposit to a delinquent account. Any unused portion of the deposit is to be refunded to the customer upon closing the account. In the event that the account holder is the property owner and there have been no notices of termination due to delinquent payment sent on the account within two years, the property owner may request a refund for the deposit. If the account holder is a renter of the property, the deposit shall be refunded upon departure from the service, if the final bill is paid in full.
