§ 50.022 TOWN TO MAKE CONNECTIONS; CHARGES.
   (A)   Generally. The town, through the Public Services Department, will furnish all material and make all connections to the water and sewer mains and install all water and sewer service pipes from the mains to the inside of the property line.
   (B)   Fire protection. All plans for private fire protection shall be submitted to and a permit obtained from the Public Services Department before installation or extension of existing installations is made.
   (C)   Cross-connections. No person will be allowed to make a cross-connection between the Public Services Department’s supply and a private well, spring, or other source. Where the customer has another source of water in addition to that of the Water Department, there shall be no physical connection between the two supplies.
      (1)   There shall be no cross-connection between the town water lines and air lines used for washing automobiles, or for any other purpose.
      (2)    No customer shall install a bypass to a meter to provide continuity of service. In case such continuity is required, a separate source of duplicate meter installation shall be made.
