§ 151.20 SKETCH PLAN SUBMISSION AND GENERAL INFORMATION.
   (A)   General. Whenever any subdivision of a tract of land is proposed to be made, the subdivider shall submit to the Secretary of the Planning Board at least 45 days prior to the regularly scheduled meeting a sketch plan of the proposed subdivision, together with a sketch vicinity map and any other data which will convey his or her intentions as to the proposed layout and type of development. The subdivider shall appear at the regularly scheduled meeting of the Planning Board to discuss the proposed subdivision and become familiar with the application of the regulations affecting the land to be subdivided.
   (B)   Plat shall be required on any subdivision of land. Pursuant to G.S. § 160D-803, a final plat shall be prepared, approved and recorded in accordance with the provisions of this chapter whenever any subdivision of land, as herein defined, occurs within the jurisdiction of this chapter.
   (C)   Active recreation area requirement. The sketch and plat shall show active recreation area as required in § 152.032 of this code of ordinances or specify that fees in lieu of provided land shall be paid upon approval of the final plat and in accordance with the town’s Fee Schedule.
