§ 150.07 BASIS FOR ESTABLISHING SPECIAL FLOOD HAZARD AREAS.
   (A)   The special flood hazard areas are those identified under the Cooperating Technical State (CTS) agreement between the state and FEMA in its Flood Insurance Study (FIS) and its accompanying Flood Insurance Rate Maps (FIRM), for Avery County dated 12-2-2008, which are adopted by reference and declared to be a part of this chapter.
   (B)   The initial Flood Insurance Rate Maps are as follows for the jurisdictional areas at the initial date:
      (1)   Avery County Unincorporated Area, dated 9-28-1990; and
      (2)   Town of Banner Elk, dated 12-2-2008.
