§ 150.01 STATUTORY AUTHORIZATION.
   The legislature of the state has, in G.S. Ch. 143, Art. 21, part 6, G.S. Ch. 160A, Art. 8, and G.S. Ch. 160D, Arts. 7, 11, and 13, delegated to local governmental units the responsibility to adopt regulations designed to promote the public health, safety and general welfare of its citizenry. Therefore, the Town Council does ordain as follows.
