(A) Initial term. The franchise granted pursuant to this agreement shall be in effect for a term of 10 years, beginning on the effective date of this agreement.
(B) Renewal. At the conclusion of the initial 10-year term, this franchise shall automatically renew for 2 successive 5-year renewal terms, unless either party provides notice to the other party at least 60 days prior to the expiration of a term of the party’s decision to not renew. In that case, the franchise will not renew but will expire at the conclusion of the term in which notice was provided. If the franchise is not renewed, the franchisee shall have 120 days after the conclusion of the term to remove its facilities from the city’s public rights-of-way.
