9-2-3: PERMIT PROCEDURE; FEE:
   A.   Permit Required: No person, firm or corporation may erect, construct, enlarge, alter, repair, improve, move, demolish, or build any structure within the jurisdiction of the city without having first obtained a separate building permit for each structure from the mayor or his authorized representative.
   B.   Application Forms: Building permit applications may be obtained from the clerk-treasurer.
   C.   Information Required: The completed building permit application form shall be returned to the mayor or his authorized representative for review. Accompanying the application shall be a sketch of the location of the proposed building or structure and a narrative explanation of the activity proposed.
   D.   Permit Approval Or Denial: Approval or denial of a building permit shall be made by a majority vote of the city council at a regularly scheduled meeting of that council. The action taken shall be entered into the minutes of the meeting and thereby constitutes official notification of approval or denial without the necessity of additional forms or letters.    E.   Fee:
      1.   With each building permit application, a fee as set by the city council will be paid at the time of submittance for review. (Ord. 176, 1975; amd. 2011 Code)
      2.   Said fee is nonrefundable even in the event of denial of a building permit.
