§ 50.09 EXTENSION OF LINES OUTSIDE CITY LIMITS.
The city may serve a water or sewer customer outside the city limits solely at the discretion of the City Council. Said water and sewer lines shall be constructed and maintained by the customer, at the city’s specifications, with any parties connecting onto such lines being allowed to do so solely by the city, and any such connections being solely regulated and charged by the city. The city specifically reserves the right to recover or recoup its costs from any such customer. This provision shall not be construed to prohibit or restrict the city or any developer from cost recovery for its share of the extension.
