§ 93.40 TREE TOPPING.
   It shall be unlawful for any person to top any tree such that its limbs are severely cut back to stubs larger than three inches in diameter with the tree’s crown to such a degree so as to remove the normal canopy and disfigure the tree, except with the prior approval of the Tree Board, as in the case of storm damage or necessity for existing older trees near utilities.
