§ 92.24 ASSESSMENT IN LIEU OF CIVIL ACTION.
   In lieu of a civil action to collect the city’s cost to abate any nuisance, the City Council may levy special assessment against the property on which the nuisance occurred. The special assessment procedure shall be as stated in applicable state law for the purpose of levying special assessment against any property in the city for municipal improvements made thereon.
