§ 90.010 TYPE AND NUMBER OF ANIMALS THAT MAY BE KEPT.
It is unlawful for any person to have or to keep more than four domestic pets over the age of six months, except birds and fish, on any lot or premises in the city, unless the City Council grants an exception. The City Council shall have the authority to limit the number of animals, whether household pets or otherwise, kept by any person. In granting any exceptions, the Council may consider proximity to city limits, land area involved or available, location to heavily residential areas, and other individual criteria. Veterinarian clinics and retail pet stores are exempt from the provisions of this section.
