§ 150.005 APPLICABILITY AND COMPLIANCE WITH CODE PROVISIONS REQUIRED.
   (A)   The provision of this code shall apply to the construction, alteration, moving, demolition, repair, maintenance and use of buildings and structures located within the incorporated areas of the City of Baldwin Park.
   (B)   It shall be unlawful for any person to erect, construct, enlarge, alter, repair, move, improve, remove, convert, demolish, equip, use, occupy or maintain any building or structure in the city, or cause or permit or suffer the same to be done, in violation of this chapter or in violation of any of the provisions of the codes adopted hereunder.
   (C)   Exception. Public projects located in the public way and not subject to the city land use regulations; public utility towers and poles; mechanical equipment not specifically regulated by this code; floor control structures; buildings and structures owned and constructed by a federal, state or other agency which authority preempts that of city government.
