§ 70.19 AUTHORITY TO REMOVE, RELOCATE AND DISCONTINUE TRAFFIC-CONTROL SIGNALS.
   The Director of Public Works is authorized to remove, relocate or discontinue, subject to the approval of the City Manager, the operation of any traffic control signal not specifically required by the Vehicle Code or this title whenever he determines in any particular case that the conditions which warranted or required the installation no longer exist or obtain.
