For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
DWELLING UNIT. Any building or portion thereof, which is designed for use as a residence by one family.
CONDOMINIUM. An estate in a lot that consists of an undivided interest in common, in a portion of a part of a lot combined with a separate interest in space in a building on such lot (see also § 783 of the Cal. Civil Code).
ONE-FAMILY DWELLING. A building which contains one kitchen, which is designed and used exclusively as a dwelling unit for one family.
