For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
HUD-CODE MANUFACTURED HOME. A structure, constructed on or after June 15, 1976, according to the rules of the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development, transportable in one or more sections, which in the traveling mode is eight body feet or more in width and 40 or more feet in length or when erected on site is 320 square feet, and which is built on a permanent chassis and designed to be used as a dwelling with or without a permanent foundation when connected to the required utilities, which includes the plumbing, heating, air-conditioning and electrical systems.
MOBILE HOME PARK (MANUFACTURED HOME PARK). A contiguous development of land planned or improved for the placement of HUD-Code manufactured homes and or recreational vehicles on spaces for lease or rent with two or more spaces in an area determined appropriate by the city and meeting all requirements of this chapter, any other applicable ordinances, deed restrictions and state law.
RECREATIONAL VEHICLE. Any and every motorized or non-motorized device in, upon or by which a person, persons, or property is or may be transported, drawn or moved upon a street, highway, waterway or airway, that is primarily designed as temporary use or living quarters for recreational use, camping or travel and shall include, but is not limited to motor homes, travel trailers, camping trailers, pop- up tent trailers, truck campers, camper shells and fifth-wheel trailers.
