(A) Maximum sound levels. No person shall operate, use, cause or allow any sound equipment adjacent to a residence within the city to exceed a sound level in excess of 85 decibels at the property line of the complaining residence on any day of the week between the hours of 11:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m. Central Standard Time.
(B) Method of sound level measurement. Sound level measurements shall be a minimum of 30 seconds in duration. Decibel levels are measured from the residential complainant's property line. Violations will be determined based on the highest registered reading in that measurement period after notice and failure to reduce the sound level to within 85 decibels or less.
