For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
DECIBEL. The unit of measurement for sound pressure at a specified location and measured by a sound level meter using an approved weighting network as specified by the American National Standards Institute.
SOUND EQUIPMENT. A loud speaker, public address system, amplification system, musical instrument, radio or other sound producing device.
SOUND LEVEL. The instantaneous sound pressure level measured in decibels and obtained by the use of a sound level meter by the Enforcement Officer of the city.
