(A) Officers shall operate official vehicles in a careful and prudent manner, and shall obey all laws and all departmental procedures pertaining to the operation. Loss or suspension of any driving license shall be reported to the Department immediately.
(B) Officers with assigned vehicles shall not, unless required to do so in the performance of their duties, frequently any place or business serving alcoholic liquors while driving a departmental vehicle. Officers shall not operate any departmental vehicle after indulging in the use of intoxicating liquors or drugs.
