All police communication equipment belonging to the Town Council and assigned for use by the Bainbridge Police Department shall be used only in the line of official duty, and be safeguarded so as to keep such police communications confidential for official Department use only. All such equipment, when assigned to an individual officer, shall be the responsibility of same for its proper care and handling.
