(A) Duly sworn officers of the Department are permitted to carry the following sidearms while on official uniform duty:
(1) .357 Magnum Smith & Wesson Model 66 revolver;
(2) .357 Magnum 6-shot revolver;
(3) 9 mm Automatic;
(4) .38 Special 6-shot revolver; and
(5) Any other type of sidearm approved by the Marshal.
(B) Non-issue weapons shall have 4-inch barrel. The make of the sidearm shall be of the officer’s choice so long as the weapon is of good quality.
(C) Duly sworn officers of the Department are permitted to carry the following sidearms while off-duty:
(1) .357 Magnum revolver;
(2) .38 Special revolver;
(3) 9 mm Automatic revolver; and
(4) Any other type of sidearm approved by the Marshal.
(D) These weapons shall be of good quality, containing no less than 5 shots and with a barrel length of not less than 2 inches. The make of the sidearm shall be of the officer’s choice so long as the weapon is of good quality.
