§ 30.36  ROLES OF CLERK-TREASURER AND MARSHAL.
   (A)   The Clerk-Treasurer and the Marshal shall be able, at any regular meeting of the Council, to give a complete and accurate statement of all monies that have come into their hands or drawn by their order, together with an account of any and all expenses incident to their respective offices.  They shall report at any time upon any matter relative to their several offices, when called on by the President or ordered to do so by the Council.

   (B)   No monies shall be paid out by the Clerk-Treasurer except upon an order signed by the President of the Council or upon such bills and claims as are allowed by a majority of the Council at either a regular or called meeting.

   (C)   It shall be the duty of the Clerk-Treasurer to keep the minutes of each meeting in a book provided by the Council for that purpose.  These minutes shall be read at the same or next regular meeting.

   (D)   All monies collected by the Marshal shall be paid by him or her to the Clerk-Treasurer as soon as collected, and the Clerk-Treasurer shall receipt him or her for the same.
