The purpose of this subchapter shall be to set standards for house numbering in the town, and to establish the authority and methods to be used when assigning addresses to properties in the town. These standards shall be used to establish residence locations which will be used in the implementation of an Enhanced 911 emergency response system in Putnam County. It is intended to provide continuity, avoid duplication, and prevent general confusion regarding the location of developed parcels of land in the Town of Bainbridge.
