§ 73.05  LIABILITY OF OWNER FOR COSTS OF REMOVAL, STORAGE, AND DISPOSAL.
   The owner of an abandoned vehicle is responsible for the abandonment and is liable for all the costs incidental to the removal, storage, and disposal of the vehicle or the parts.  An owner shall be liable for towing fees not to exceed $50, unless special circumstances require services in addition to normal tow charges (in which case, a larger, reasonable fee may be charged),  and storage fees not to exceed $15 per day.  The proceeds of sale of an abandoned vehicle or parts shall be credited against all costs incident to the removal, storage, and disposal of the vehicle.
