§ 53.19  SEWER CONNECTIONS OUTSIDE OF CORPORATE LIMITS.
   (A)   Apply for connection permit form at the Town Hall.  A $25 permit and inspection fee is required.
   (B)   Contract with a sewer contractor for installation.  Purchase required materials, pipe, fittings, and the like.
   (C)   Notify Town Hall (552-6238) 48 hours prior to digging sewer trench and setting grinder pump station.
   (D)   Dig the new sewer trench from the town lateral to the grinder pump station and to the connection with the existing house lateral.  The pump station must be located at least 5 feet from the house.
   (E)   Install pipe, fittings, and grinder pump station.
   (F)   Call Town Hall (522-6238) 48 hours prior to requested inspection.  Inspection will include but is not necessarily limited to visual pictures and measurements as deemed appropriate by the Town Inspector.  Only approved materials will be accepted.
   (G)   If the inspection is approved, building sewer may then be backfilled and the trench, yard, and driveway work completed.
   (H)   If not approved, the corrections must be made, and a second inspection must be requested (see division (F) above).
   (I)   Existing septic tanks cannot remain in service and must be pumped out by a certified and licensed waste hauler.
   (J)   Existing septic tanks must be filled or removed from the site.
   (K)   Call Town Hall (522-6238) 48 hours prior to inspection after septic tank has been properly abandoned.
