(A) Establishment. There is hereby established an Election Commission.
(B) Organization. The Election Commission shall be composed of three electors who shall be residents of the town and who shall be appointed by the Town Council. The terms of the members shall be six years, except for those first appointed. Of those first appointed, one shall serve a term of six years, one shall serve a term of four years and one a term of two years, all in accordance with S.C. Code § 5-15-90.
(C) Purpose and duties. The Election Commission shall conduct all municipal elections and shall have all powers and duties granted to such commissions in S.C. Code Title 5 and Title 7, as amended.
