Notes to Schedule 1262.04
(a)   One temporary construction sign shall be permitted only during the period that the building is under construction.  A second construction sign may be erected solely for the purpose of identifying the source of any public funding which may be available for the construction of the project and shall not exceed 32 square feet.
(b)   Canopy or awning signs may not exceed 24 square feet.
(c)   Must be included as part of the wall sign allowance.  Refer to Section 1262.03(a)(c).
(d)   Shall be permitted according to the regulations in Section 1262.07(a).
(e)   One permanent freestanding identification sign shall be permitted per zoning lot.
   One additional ground sign may be permittedfor a zoning lot if the zoning lot satisfies the following criteria:
   A.    If the zoning lot has an additional access drive from a public right-of-way to the zoning lot for the purpose of public ingress/egress of vehicular traffic, an additional ground sign may be erected adjacent to that access drive, taking into consideration preservation of the sight triangle and the following requirements:
 
1.   Maximum area:
Twenty-four square feet
2.   Maximum height:
Six feet
3.   Maximum width:
Four feet
4.   Front setback:
Seven feet minimum from any right-of-way line
5.   Side yard setback:
Fifteen feet minimum from any other property line
6.   Distance separation:
Two hundred feet minimum between the ground signs
 
   B.   When a free-standing sign is permitted on a site with more than one tenant, it is the property owner's responsibility to determine if the allowable area shall be devoted to the identification of the building or the project, be a directory for a select group of tenants, or all tenants, in the project or be for project identification or a tenant directory in combination.
(f)   See Section 1262.06 for additional regulations for projecting signs.
(g)   An additional 1/2 sq. ft. of sign area for each linear foot of building frontage shall be permitted if there is a minimum building setback of 100 feet.
(h)   See Section 1262.03(c)(4) for regulations in calculating the building frontage for multi-tenant buildings.
(i)   All signs shall comply with the applicable regulations for signs in Business and Industrial Districts.
(j)   Two signs shall be permitted per dwelling unit.
(k)   Temporary signs erected in relation to a public vote shall be erected no more than 30 days before such vote and shall be removed within 5 days after such vote.
(l)   Signs identifying individual contractors working on a project may be displayed for a period of 30 days or the length of time the work is being performed, whichever is less.
(m)   32 square feet permitted with agricultural use.
(n)   Two square feet permitted when affixed to a wall of a building; six square feet permitted when installed as a freestanding sign.
