§ 51.07 TEMPORARY ELECTRIC SERVICE.
   The Town Electric Department will construct and provide the following for temporary electric service:
   (A)   Basic minimum service will be forwarded for a non-refundable charge of $50 under the following conditions:
      (1)   Where the service facilities can be supplied from an existing transformer;
      (2)   Where the service is an overhead construction of 120/240 A.C. volts 60 HZ of 200 or less amperes; and/or
      (3)   Where the overhead service conductors extend into the customer’s property or job site 100 feet or less.
   (B)   (1)   There will be a non-refundable charge in addition to the $50 basic service charge for temporary electric service facilities if it is of the following:
         (a)   Larger capacity than 200 amperes;
         (b)   Higher voltage than 120/240 volts, A.C.;
         (c)   More than single-phase, 3-wire; and/or
         (d)   Longer than 100 feet into the customer’s property or job site, or for underground construction or where an existing transformer is not available.
      (2)   This additional charge will be composed of the cost of labor and equipment for installing and removing the service; plus any materials used to construct the temporary service which as a result are unsalvageable or not reusable.
   (C)   The customer shall furnish and install, at his or her expense a temporary service pole on the job site. This pole must have securely fastened on it the complete temporary meter base and service entrance with fused disconnect and neutral ground. The pole must also be of sufficient height to maintain national electric safety code clearances for overhead secondary above ground buildings, drives and streets. The customer pole conditions are required to be completed before the utility’s crews will connect the temporary service to the customer’s pole.
   (D)   All temporary service construction requires that the customer or his or her authorized agent complete the required authorization and monthly service billing forms at the Town Utilities Office. The $50 payment will be required at that time to initiate the electric service.
