§ 34.06 EQUAL EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY.
   (A)   The Town Council reaffirms its direct adherence to Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (42 USC 2000E et seq.), the Age Discrimination and Employment Act of 1967 (29 USC 621 et seq.), the Equal Pay Act of 1963 (29 USC 201 et seq.), § 503 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (29 USC 791 et seq.), § 402 of the Vietnam Era Veterans Readjustment Assistance Act of 1974, § 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (29 USC 794 et seq.), and Title VIII of the Civil Rights Act of 1984 (42 USC 2000E et seq.).
   (B)   The town, its elected and appointed officials and its employees will abide by all laws and decisions regarding equal employment opportunity.
   (C)   The town will not discriminate against employees on the basis of national origin, race, color, religion, sex, age or handicap status, with reasonable accommodation to persons who can perform the essential functions of a job.
