§ 70.01  DEFINITIONS.
   (A)   Terms used in this chapter have the meanings assigned to them in I.C. 9-13-2 et seq.
   (B)   For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning:
         PARK or PARKING.  The standing of a vehicle, whether occupied or not, otherwise than temporarily for the purpose of and while actually engaged in loading or unloading merchandise.
         STOP.  When required means the complete cessation from movement.
         STOP or STOPPING.  When prohibited means any halting even momentarily of a vehicle, whether occupied or not, except when necessary to avoid conflict with other traffic or in compliance with the directions of a police officer or traffic arterial sign or signal.
