(A) The Town of Austin, County of Scott, State of Indiana, is hereby incorporated as a municipal corporation. Said municipal corporation shall consist of the following described area of Scott County, Indiana:
Beginning at the Northeast corner of the Southwest quarter of Section 25, Township 4 North, Range 6 East; thence South with the East line of said Section 25, 2,640 feet; thence continuing South with the East line of Section 36, 5,580 feet to a point that is 300 feet South of the Southeast corner of Section 36; thence West 10, 860 feet, being 300 feet South of and parallel to the South line of Section 36 and Section 35, to a point; thence North 3,240 feet, being 300 feet West of an parallel to the West line of Section 35, to a point 300 feet North of English Avenue; thence East 7,100 feet, 300 feet North of an parallel to the half section line of Section 35, to the centerline of North High Street; thence Northwest 600 feet (more or less) with the centerline of North High Street to the centerline of Morgan Avenue; thence Northeast 650 feet (more or less) with the centerline of Morgan Avenue to the centerline of U.S. Highway #31; thence Northwest 470 feet with the centerline of U.S. Highway #31 to the centerline of a county road; thence East 5,400 feet with the half section line of Section 25, being the centerline of a county road to the actual point of beginning, containing 1,306 acres.
(B) There shall be three wards in said town consisting of the following areas.
(1) Ward No. I. Beginning at intersection of Church Street in the town of Austin, Indiana and the North Incorporation Boundary line of the Town of Austin, Indiana, running thence South with the centerline of Church Street to the centerline of Fast Drive in the Town of Austin, Indiana; thence East with the centerline of Factory Drive to the centerline of Mann Avenue in the Town of Austin, Indiana; thence South with the centerline of Mann Avenue to State Road 256; thence West with the centerline of State Road 256 to the centerline of Howard Street in the Town of Austin, Indiana; thence South with the centerline of Howard Street to the centerline of Cherry Street in the Town of Austin, Indian; thence West with the centerline of Cherry Street to U.S. Highway #31; thence South with the centerline of U.S. Highway #31 to the South Incorporation Boundary line of the Town of Austin, Indiana; thence East with said Incorporation Boundary line to the East Incorporation Boundary line of the Town of Austin, Indiana; thence North with the East Incorporation Boundary line in the town of Austin, Indiana to the North Incorporation Boundary line in the Town of Austin, Indiana; thence West with the North Incorporation Boundary line of the Town of Austin, Indiana to the centerline of Church Street in the Town of Austin, Indiana and the true point of beginning of this description.
(2) Ward No. II. Beginning at intersection of Church Street in the Town of Austin, Indiana and the North Incorporation Boundary of the Town of Austin, Indiana, running thence South with the centerline of Church Street to the centerline of Factory Drive in the Town of Austin, Indiana; thence East with the centerline of Factory Drive to the centerline of Mann Avenue in the Town of Austin, Indiana; thence South with the centerline of Mann Avenue to State Road 256; thence West with the centerline of State Road 256 to the centerline of Howard Street in the Town of Austin, Indiana; thence South with the centerline of Howard Street to the centerline of Cherry Street in the Town of Austin, Indian; thence West with the centerline of Cherry Street to U.S. Highway #31, thence North with the centerline of U.S. Highway #31 to the North Incorporation Boundary line of the Town of Austin, Indiana; thence East with the North Incorporation Boundary line of the Town of Austin, Indiana to the centerline of Church Street in the Town of Austin, Indiana and the true point of beginning of this description.
(3) Ward No. III. Beginning at the Intersection of the West Incorporation Boundary line and the South Incorporation Boundary line of the Town of Austin, Indiana running thence North with the West Incorporation Boundary line 3,240 feet to the North Incorporation Boundary line of the Town of Austin, Indiana; thence East with the North Incorporation Boundary line of the town of Austin, Indiana 7,100 feet; thence North with the Incorporation Boundary line of the town of Austin, Indiana 600 feet; thence East with the Incorporation Boundary line of the Town of Austin, Indiana 650 feet to the centerline of U.S. Highway #31; thence South with the centerline of U.S. Highway #31 to the intersection of said Highway and the South Incorporation Boundary line of the Town of Austin, Indiana; thence West with South Incorporation Boundary line of the Town of Austin, Indiana to the Intersection of the South Incorporation Boundary line of the Town of Austin, Indiana and the West Incorporation Boundary line of the Town of Austin, Indiana, being the true point of beginning of the description.
