141.09 AGE LIMIT FOR APPOINTMENT.

   (a)    In accordance with Ohio R.C. 124.42, the Mayor may appoint any competent person who is not over thirty-six years of age to a full-time position in the Division of Fire.

   (b)    The Mayor may appoint any person not over forty years of age to a full-time position in the Division of Fire providing he has prior service and qualifies as being a member of the Ohio Police and Firemen's Disability and Pension Fund and that such service and membership has continued for not less than four years prior to appointment.

   (c)    The Mayor may appoint any competent person not over fifty years of age to a part-time position in the Division of Fire.
