§ 34.30  OPERATION AND FUNDING.
   The city parks and recreation areas, including its swimming pool and ball fields, shall be operated in accordance with the rules, regulations and ordinances of the Mayor and Council and the statutes of the State of Nebraska, including Neb. RS 17-948 through 17-951 and 71-4301 through 71-4307. The Mayor, by and with the consent of the City Council, shall appoint a Park Superintendent and the necessary number of employees to lay out, improve, beautify, maintain and manage the parks and recreational facilities. To fund the operations of the Parks Department, the Mayor and Council may authorize admission and rental charges for the use of the facilities, may make and levy a tax annually, and may issue bonds, all in accordance with the above referenced statutes. These revenues shall be known as the Park and Swimming Pool Fund and shall be placed in the custody of the City Clerk- Treasurer.
