§ 33.20  AIRPORT AUTHORITY BOARD.
   The Airport Authority Board shall consist of five members nominated and elected in the manner provided by law for the election of officers of the city. They shall be residents of the city, shall take office at the same time as the officers of the city and shall serve six-year terms. Vacancies shall be filled by temporary appointment by the Mayor, with approval of a majority of the elected members of the Council, until a successor can be elected at the next general city election to serve the unexpired portion, if any, of the term. Members are not entitled to compensation for their services but are entitled to reimbursement of expenses incurred. The Airport Authority Board shall have the powers and exercise the duties as provided by the statutes of the State of Nebraska, including Neb. RS 3-501 through 3-514.
