Members of the Board of Health, the Chief of Police, the Fire Chief, the Utilities Superintendent, the Street Commissioner, the Building Inspector, the Zoning Administrator, the Water Commissioner and the Sewer Commissioner shall be permitted to inspect a campground at reasonable times to assure continuing compliance with all applicable rules, regulations, resolutions and ordinances to safeguard the health and safety of occupants of the campground and members of the general public. The permit holder shall be given written notice of any violations, to include a reasonable time (not less than 30 days) to accomplish the corrections which shall be necessary to effect compliance. Notice shall be served personally upon the owner or agent thereof or sent by registered mail to the last known address of the owner or agent, or by service in accordance with any other method authorized by the statutes of the State of Nebraska, including Neb. RS 25-505.01 through 25-530.08. If the violations have not been corrected within the specified time period, the City Clerk-Treasurer shall revoke the permit and give notice in writing of the revocation, and upon receipt of notice of revocation that person shall cease operations of the campground. Whenever the Board of Health finds that an emergency exists which requires immediate action to protect the public health, it may, without notice or hearing, issue an order reciting the existence of an emergency and take action as deemed necessary to meet the emergency, including the revocation of the permit by the City Clerk-Treasurer. The order shall be effective immediately, but upon petition to the City Clerk-Treasurer, the permit holder shall be afforded a prompt hearing before the Mayor and Council for approval, disapproval or amendment of the order of the Board of Health.
