§ 95.39  CUTTING CURBS.
   Pursuant to the statutes of the State of Nebraska, including Neb. RS 17-567, it shall be unlawful for any person to cut into any paving, curb or sidewalk for any purpose without first having obtained permission from the Street Commissioner. When cutting into any paving, it shall be done under the rules and specifications prescribed by the Street Commissioner. Before closure, the applicant shall contact the Street Commissioner who shall supervise and inspect the materials used and the work done in closing the opening. It shall be discretionary with the Street Commissioner to have city employees perform the cutting and closing work. The applicant shall be liable for all necessary street, alley and sidewalk repairs for a period of one year after the work is completed.
