§ 93.080  DUTY TO REMOVE DEAD ANIMALS AND FOWLS.
   If any animals or fowls shall die in the possession of any person in this city, it shall be the duty of the person to cause the same to be at once removed without the limits of the city and buried or otherwise disposed of. The burial or disposition shall be at a place prescribed by and under the direction of the Board of Health. In case the owner or person having charge of any animal or fowl shall neglect or refuse to remove the animal or fowl within ten hours after its death, then and in that event the Board of Health shall provide for the removal of the dead animal at the expense of the owner or person having charge of the same, the expenditure to be recovered in a civil action. Whenever the owner or other person having charge of any dead animals or fowls cannot be found, it shall be the duty of the Board of Health to cause the animal or fowl to be removed and buried at the expense of the city.
