In accordance with the statutes of the State of Nebraska, including Neb. RS 54-601 and 54-602, it shall be unlawful for any person to allow a dog or cat owned by him or her to injure or destroy any real or personal property of any description belonging to another person. The owner of the dog or cat, in addition to the usual judgment upon conviction, may be held liable to the person(s) so injured in an amount equal to the value of the damage so sustained.
