§ 72.16  LOADING AND UNLOADING.
   The operator of a truck, truck-tractor or vehicle with a trailer may stop, stand or park in any alley adjoining or adjacent to premises abutting streets included in the no truck parking areas for purposes of loading or unloading goods, wares, merchandise or other commodities consigned to or by merchants or others on those premises for a period of time as is necessary, but in no case longer than one-half hour; provided, the Chief of Police may grant additional time as is reasonably necessary. If the consignor or consignee has no alley entrance to his or her premises, the Chief of Police may permit the loading or unloading from a specified street space abutting the premises for a time as is reasonably necessary.
