The customer, upon approval of the application for sewer service, shall obtain the services of a licensed plumber to tap the sewer main and to perform all necessary work and furnish all materials required for installation of the sewer connection. No pavement upon a street or alley shall be cut for purposes of sewer installation or repair except with prior approval of the Street Commissioner. The consumer shall be liable for all necessary street, alley and sidewalk repairs for a period of one year after completion of sewer hook-up.
