The Engineer shall be notified 48 hours in advance of the starting date of any work on the proposed improvements by the subdivider. He shall be furnished with a list of the sources of materials used on the job so that there will be ample time to check the same. All material delivered to the job shall be subject to inspection at the source or site and may be rejected at either location. Final acceptance of the work rests with the Engineer and the performance bond shall be retained in full effect until the acceptance of the work is made official. All inspection of materials and work shall be made at the expense of the owner or subdivider.
