§ 130.02 MARKING PUBLIC PROPERTY.
   It shall be unlawful to paint, print, paste, stencil or otherwise mark upon or in any manner place upon or affix to any telephone, electric or other utility pole, or upon any city-owned building or any tree, post or other structure on city-owned property, without the consent of the owner thereof, any word, letter, character, figure, sentence, device, handbill or notice, political poster or announcement of a public event. This section shall not apply to the posting of any handbill or notice of any public sale of property by the mayor or other city official, sheriff, administrator, executor or guardian when such posting is required by law.
