No person shall establish, conduct or maintain any junkyard or automobile salvage yard within the city, unless the property be enclosed by board, brick, metal or concrete fence not less than eight feet in height and built in such a manner as to hide such junk and salvage from view. All doors or gates to such yard shall be the same height as the fence, shall be constructed of either solid wood or metal and shall swing so as not to project beyond the property line.
