§ 90.09 MAXIMUM TOWING AND STORAGE CHARGES.
   Pursuant to the provisions of IC 9-22-1-21.5, IC 9-22-1-25 and IC 9-22-1-30, the costs for removal and storage of an abandoned vehicle or parts not claimed by the person who owns or holds a lien on a vehicle shall be paid from the abandoned vehicle account established hereunder. The maximum charge payable to an individual, a firm, a partnership, a limited liability company, or a corporation that owns or holds a lien on a vehicle for providing towing, storing, or removing an abandoned vehicle may not exceed $100 per standard tow, or $250 per tow if special towing equipment is required, and $5 per day for storage, not to exceed $500 total for storage.
