§ 70.32 POLICE DEPARTMENT TO INVESTIGATE ACCIDENTS; FEE FOR MOTOR VEHICLE ACCIDENT REPORT.
   (A)   It shall be the duty of the Police Department to investigate traffic accidents and to arrest and assist in the prosecution of those persons charged with violations of law causing or contributing to such accidents. (Ord., passed 11-20-78)
   (B)   In consideration of the police providing a motor vehicle accident report, the Police Department shall collect a fee of $10 for each report from the applicant for same. This fee shall be placed in the "Accident Report Account" pursuant to IC 9-26-2 et seq. The account shall be used for the purposes set forth in IC 9-26-2 et seq.
