For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning. Whenever any words and phrases used herein are not defined herein, but are defined in the state laws regulating the disposal of garbage and refuse, any such definition therein shall be deemed to apply to such words and phrases used herein, except when the context otherwise requires.
HAZARDOUS TRASH. A waste with properties that make it dangerous or capable of having a harmful effect on human health or the environment.
HEAVY/SPECIAL TRASH. Any form or type of garbage, solid wastes, junk, electronic devices or other disposable refuse which, because of size, weight, unusual quantity, character, or source of generation cannot be properly placed in containers, which is otherwise ineligible for collection under the city’s normal garbage collection service.
